Arun Khazanchi, M.D., aka “Dr. K” is a nationally acclaimed gastroenterologist residing and providing services in Lakewood Ranch for over 20 years.  Dr. K was instrumental in founding and developing one of the largest and most successful gastroenterology groups in southwest Florida.  Dr. K, as President, guided the group for over 13 years and expanded it into 90+ providers all over the state of Florida.  Dr. K has always been at the forefront of adapting to the many changes in the healthcare industry and making sure patient care is the number one priority.  As such, he has keenly observed where healthcare is headed and with keeping patient care as his number one priority, he took the bold move to go back into solo practice where he will continue to provide the energy, time and quality care patients deserve.  Dr. K’s goals are to provide more specialized and personalized medicine to each patient and focus on overall health and wellness.  He also will continue to see patients for disorders including Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis, esophageal and swallowing ailments, irritable bowel syndrome, specializing in conditions affecting the bile ducts and gallbladder, and more.  He is also one of a small group of physicians who perform advanced procedures such as endoscopic ultrasounds for cancers and biopsies of the rectum, lungs, pancreas, and esophagus.

Amanda Lee, a seasoned nurse practitioner at Premiere GI, brings more than 13 years of gastroenterology experience to her patients.  Amanda received her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practice from the University of South Florida.  As a family Nurse Practitioner, Amanda is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Amanda has worked as a nurse practitioner in gastroenterology alongside Dr. Khazanchi since 2010. Amanda is passionate about colon cancer screening and prevention and has a special interest in treating patients with inflammatory bowel disease. She takes pride in her compassionate approach to connect, listen, and provide the best possible care, tailored to each patient’s needs, as is evidenced by her loyal patient following.   Her heartfelt approach makes a lasting impression on everyone she meets.

Amanda is married with two children. In her spare time, she loves cheering on her daughter in volleyball and her son in baseball. Amanda and her family also enjoy attending Tampa Bay sporting events and/or cheering on the Florida Gators.

Tracy Osborne, a seasoned Certified Physician Assistant, (PA-C) at Premiere GI, brings more than 20 years of gastroenterology, family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, women’s health, menopausal hormone replacement therapy and wellness experience to her patients.  Tracy received her bachelor’s in physician assistant studies from the University of Kentucky.  Tracy is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. 

Tracy has worked as a physician assistant in gastroenterology alongside Dr. Khazanchi since 2017. She is passionate about wellness and has a special interest in treating patients who need hormone replacement therapy, weight loss guidance and post-weight loss aesthetics in addition to providing routine GI services. She takes pride in her compassionate approach, naturally identifying with patients’ concerns and connecting with them, having experienced these challenges personally.  Her calming and relaxed approach makes a lasting impression on everyone she meets.

Tracy is married with five children. In her spare time, she loves lounging by the pool, relaxing at the beach or enjoying weekends at Disney World.  She is originally from Kentucky and enjoys the laid-back Florida lifestyle which is very similar to her home state where she spent most of her life prior to relocating to Florida in 2014.
